Air Dribble Roadmap v3.1 Is Out (8 New Videos Inside)

We finally shipped the part that matters most.

The “tap jump” method and more. Explained in the sheet below.

Hey, it’s Luke

Quick follow-up to the air dribble roadmap email I sent before thanksgiving.

Version 3.1 of the Air Dribble Roadmap is officially out.

We've added visuals and GIFs to each tab of the roadmap.

And more importantly,
we just released 8 brand new custom air dribble videos.

Some of you already found them early by poking around the Rocket League Bootcamp channel 👀
(Yes, that was intentional, we wanted all the companion videos to be up when the main guide goes live next week)

Checkout the videos in the sheet above.

Consider this a sneak peek for being part of the Rocket League Academy free Discord. Appreciate you being here. :)

What Changed in v3.1

We've added GIFs to every level, color to the entire sheet, and custom cinematics to explain every concept we think is essential to air dribbling consistently.

And of course we added 8 fully edited videos, recorded by yours truly (that’s me Luke. Hi. I write these)

The pros on the team have been busy with coaching and stuff so I got stuck with recording these lol.

These 8 new videos focus on what we’ve been calling air dribble “microskills.”

This is the stuff most tutorials skip over, like:

– how your setup changes on different parts of the field
– timing and jump height depending on the ball position
– different types of jumps you can use on your first touches
– air roll adjustments
– ground versus wall air dribbles
- Advanced techniques to recover your dribbles like tornado spins, reverse tornado spins, twist flips, dodge control, etc.

This is usually where players get stuck.

Not because air dribbles are “too hard,”
but because nobody explains what actually matters at each step.

You'll see there are five levels of difficulty to the sheet for this exact reason.

These videos plug directly into the roadmap, alongside each level, so you’re not guessing what to practice next.

They’re all:
• completely free
• already live
• and hosted on the Rocket League Bootcamp channel

Go take a stab and see which levels you can do. >:)

A Quick Heads Up

A few roadmap cells don’t hyperlink yet.

Nothing is broken.
All links are clickable and work, we’re just finishing some cleanup and formatting.

Don't be alarmed by some links not showing. You can still click them to view the reference videos.

The full, final Air Dribble Roadmap 100min video release is coming very soon (sources say before Christmas)

If you want to jump in now, you absolutely can.

Real Talk (Short Version)

This project is a continuation of the shift I talked about in the last email.

You'll notice this year I've stopped doing weekly uploads. Really stopped any sort of uploading schedule. I'm spending as long as I need to make videos complete. No slower, no faster.

This has helped a lot. Me and the team dedicate way more time to topics that need it (and less time to the topics that don't) which honestly works better overall.

If we didn't stop doing those weekly deadlines, we never would have been able to do a video like this. For context, this Air Dribble Roadmap video took four months. Thank you for your patience and support in the meantime.

The full 100-minute guide is going live on my main channel (SpookyLuke) very very soon.

And last but not least, all of our content & tools like this will always be free for the entire community.💙

All of our resources are in the Free Stuff section in the Rocket League Academy Discord. If you ever need to come back to the Air Dribble Roadmap, that’s where it’ll be.

If you want more help, we sell services like group coaching and one-on-one coaching to help you guys implement this stuff, personalized to you.

Hope the roadmap helps you.
More updates soon.

Talk soon,
Luke
