Its SpookyLuke & I have a confession to make...

My secret and how I improve at Rocket League faster.

TIP OF THE DAY:
If you’re still only using “Wall To Air Dribble” by IP Joker in 2025, you’re going to be left behind.

Back in 2016 when I started playing Rocket League, we only had the default Psyonix training packs. But in 2025, you’ve got a full arsenal to improve faster. I’m talking custom training packs, workshop maps, and BakkesMod plugins that didn’t even exist a few years ago.

I’ve updated my tutorials in the last two months to make sure you know how to use these tools, get the right packs, and set them up the right way. You can find them all on my YouTube.

If you want to keep up, you can’t just stick to the old tools. Use everything we have today or get left behind.

ADAPT OR DIE
(A little dramatic, but you get the point.)

Last night I wrapped up 3+ hour long coaching call. Wow, it was a long one.

One of the biggest takeaways from that free live event was this.

You need to improve your solo plays if you want to push into Grand Champ and SSL.

If you are Plat through Champ, good fundamentals can carry you pretty far. But once you are near the top, if you cannot consistently threaten and finish solo plays when you have space, you will stall out.

In the first fifteen minutes of the session, we broke down exactly when to set up your dribble, how to create angles that force the defender to guess, and how to use targeted packs like KevPert’s 1s Shots F8 to sharpen that skill.

I go over all of this in my coaching calls, but you need to be training these things now if you want to stay ahead.

And to do that, you need the right tools.

That’s why I’ve put together my updated training packs, workshop maps, my four part air roll system, and my updated settings guide, all in one place inside my free Discord.

You can join here and start working on the exact skills we broke down in this session:

Confession time…

Some people have been asking me, “Luke, do you use AI to write your posts?”

The answer is absolutely yes. I even say so in my welcome email after you subscribe..

But here’s the thing, AI doesn’t replace the work. It’s not like I type “write me an email” and then hit send. That last post I sent you still took me over two hours to write.

The way I see it, AI is just like a new training pack in Rocket League. It is a tool. If you want to improve faster in 2025, you use every tool you can get your hands on.

Its just like people who complain that everybody is mechanical these days. Yes, everybody is mechanical. So what are you going to do about it?

- Sit here and complain?
- Or learn the new meta mechanics?

Those are your two options.

Same thing here. If something can help me create better content in less time, I am going to use it. In this case, that thing is AI.

The truth is, every creator you know is using AI in some way. The difference is that most creators don’t say they’re using it.

But I’m going to be 100% real with you.

I use AI all the time. It helps me produce more content, better content, and I’m way faster than I would be without it.

So of course I am going to use it, but I wanted you to know.

At the end of the day, I am still the one behind the keyboard, but I figure you should know because it matters. AI is not a shortcut to skip the grind. It is a way to speed up the boring parts of writing so I can get you more Rocket League info, faster.

What to expect from me now that I’m back to email

Okay, so what’s the plan for email going forward? Here’s how I’m going to attack these.

When I send you something, it’s going to be short, focused, and worth your time. Most will be 2–3 minute reads with a clear takeaway you can apply right away. Some weeks I might send two, other weeks none. I’m not forcing a schedule just to fill space. I only want to write when I have something that will actually help you improve.

Here’s what you can expect:
• Tips you can apply the same day to improve faster
• My latest training packs, workshop maps, and resources from 2025
• Quick insights from coaching thousands of players over 10+ years
• Occasional deep dives into mechanics, game sense, and strategy
• Links to free tools in my Discord, including my settings guide, 4‑part air roll system, and 3+ hours of free courses

I’m also in my community live every Monday night for our weekly coaching session.

The session is streamed free on my YouTube, and if you’re in the community you can join directly, submit your replays, and get feedback on the spot.

Right now we are running a promo where you can try the Rocket League Clubhouse (my private coaching community) free for 30 days.
