Turning 24 & Reflecting on the Journey
From Northwestern dropout to full-time RL coach: why you should chase your dreams too

Hey, it's Luke đź‘‹
I just turned 24. That’s a big one, especially for Rocket League, because this is the age where most pros retire.
But as the kids would say.
“Unc still got it"
And I'm still here, no plans to go anytime soon.
We'll start off with gratitude.
I'm incredibly grateful for:
My team at SpookyLuke.com
Friends and relationships built over the years in the scene
Most of all, my community for supporting me and allowing me to teach Rocket League for a living
Without all of you, I couldn't chase my dreams.
If you told me before college (Northwestern University) that I'd drop out to teach car soccer, I would've laughed. l still do laugh, life has a funny way of working out.

Posted this on my Instagram when I dropped out four years ago.
Moral of the story: Chase your dreams.
Every birthday reminds me we only have so many years, especially to be young. Go get what you want and don't wait for anyone.
That's me. Short one today.
SpookyGuy out ✌️
